What it Means to be Free

God gave us free will. Choice. To chose to love him, or to not. This is one of the greatest gifts of Love God has ever given to us. Without choice, there is no love, just coercion and fear, or a robotic, emotionless  walk with Him. But He gave us choice. Us; the same people he knew would sin against Him time and time again. He knew how bad we would hurt Him and how often we would turn on Him, but He chose to give us the ability to chose, risking the fact that we may turn away from Him for good. What an amazing example, to our parenting, our marriages, our relationships with others. God gave us free will, the freedom to chose, because true love and intimacy can only come from these things.
